Bike riding or cycling around Cronulla Beach and Sydney New South Wales Australia is a great way to see the sights at your own liesure.
The area around Cronulla Beach is very flat and makes for easy riding.
An excellent easy flat trip is the ride to Kurnell, the birthplace of modern Australia. Kurnell is where Captain James Cook first set foot on Australian soil in 1770.
For the more serious bike enthusiast Sydney's Blue Mountains offer fantastic mountain bike trails and rides in stunning natural forests and parks.

Across the road from Cronulla Beach youth hostel is the local bike shop "Chain Reaction" and you can hire a good bike and helmet (which you need) for about $30 a day.
