Established in 1982 the Sydney Hang Gliding Centre is Sydney's first and only full time hang gliding centre. The Instructors They offer fully trained instructors and head instructor is a Hang Gliding Federation of Australia Chief Flying Instructor and NCAS Level 2 Coach. Never been hang gliding before? Well the Sydney Hang Gliding Centre at Stanwell Park NSW is the pioneer and developer of the dual flight "Tandem Training Program" - your instructor goes with you to accelerate your training with a high level of safety. Take-Off Areas The primary take-off point is the world famous "Bald Hill" at Stanwell Park on the edge of the Royal National Park Sydney Australia. They also take-off from "Hill 60" near Port Kembla just south of Wollongong New South Wales.
