Royal National Park Sydney Walking TracksThe Royal National Park south of Sydney New South Wales Australia has over 150km of walking paths divided up into 10 walks.The walks cover different areas such as rainforest and heathland areas and vary from short 30 minute walks to advanced two day hiking treks. It is highly recommended that you obtain a map of the walk from the National Park visitors centre before starting out. Also check the weather and bring bushwalking and hiking outdoor clothing for all events. Royal National Park Sydney Forest WalksIf you are short on time then try the 30 minute Bungoona Walk Track which takes you along a ridgetop landscape and offers stunning views of the Royal National Park and the Hacking River.The Palm Jungle Loop Walk Track will fill in a good 5 hours of your day and is rated as "Hard". Starting near Burning Palms Beach this bushwalk then climbs to the Werrong Lookout with panoramic views of the Australian New South Wales South Coast. The walk then divides and you can continue through closed woodlands or to Otford Lookout. Royal National Park Sydney Heathland TracksThe Heathland walking tracks are a longer and all rated "Medium" or "Medium-Hard".The shorter Bundeena Road to Marley walk is 6.5km and takes around three hours. It takes you through heathland to Deer Pool. It then rises out of a small valley to meet with the Little Marley Trail which gives you access to Marley Beach. Royal National Park Sydney Coast TrackFor the adventurous check out the Coast Track. This is a two day walk so you will need a camping permit or book into the Garie YHA for cheap accommodation (before you leave!). This hiking trek offers everything; beaches, cliff tops, escarpments, variable terrain and fantastic views. Enjoy Australia's great outdoors.Take a virtual tour of the coastal track with us...
